‘T10 Gully cricket’ league has Ishant Sharma in a bit of the spott-10

ishantsharma-gullyIshant Sharma is in trouble due to signing on as the brand ambassador for a new ‘T10 Gully cricket’ league. The appearance at the launch of a new ‘T10 Gully cricket‘ league has Ishant Sharma in a bit of the spot. The BCCI is apparently not too happy with the young bowler for signing on as the brand ambassador for this event. But the organisers argue there is no conflict of interest between them and the bosses of Indian cricket.
The BCCI do not want the Indian team who all are in contract with them to endorse or be the brand ambassador for any other board. The organizers of this league want to give new chance to all those who have not played much cricket and can give an opportunity to show there talent. This is primarily a tournament for those who have not played first class cricket. So they are not under the provision of the board anyway,” said the organisers of the tournament.

The man handling the tournament is former India coach Lalchand Rajput, who believes this tournament is ideally suited for newcomers.

sheila-dikshitSheila Dikshit again become the CM of Delhi, this is a third time for congress to make their government in Delhi. The BJP leader Vijay Malhotra most expected candidate for CM has been defeated by congress. Congress has occupied 42 seats where as BJP only 21.

In Rajasthan also congress has won 96 seats whereas BJP 77. This is a very big defeat for BJP in Delhi, Rajasthan, Mizoram. This result will surely boast the congress party for lok sabha election. The emerging results to Assembly polls show a 3:2 split in congressfavour of Congress, providing a much-needed boost to the UPA just ahead of general elections due in April-May 2009. It will give Congress the breathing space it needs to tackle the fallout of the Mumbai attacks and an economic slowdown.
